The toilet needs special attention in order to remove bacteria regularly. Did you know that when you flush the water in the toilet there is a number of bacteria that also get to the floor and the surfaces of the bathroom? That’s why it is important to clean the toilet minimum of once a week if you live alone. Even better, you can keep disinfecting tissues nearby and wipe the surfaces and toilet seat regularly.
The sink in your bathroom also needs to be washed at least once a week. Wipe the tap with disinfecting tissues regularly especially in winter when it’s the season of viruses and flu.
Also, don’t forget to exchange the hand towels every second day. When more people live in the household you might need to exchange them more often.
Make sure to wash your bath towel after 3 uses. Always hang your bath towel to dry after use, because wet bath towels can become a breeding ground for germs.
The shower and bathtub need to be cleaned at least once a week. In order to avoid soap and water stains, you can wipe the shower and bathtub after each use.
A deep clean of the bathroom is recommended every two weeks or once a month.
